The stock show was in town for over the past week and we had the pleasure of walking out of my mom's office to see the parade. There were a couple of moments of the parade where I transported back to Wyoming and my (ahem) Western roots :)
There was one exciting moment when a longhorn decided that he had enough of this gig and wanted to catch a Rockies game. Luckily a couple of cowboys tore off on their horses and wrangled him back with the herd. It's not everyday that this city girl gets to write a sentence like that!

The parade was great! We came, we saw, we got candy, we got beads! Overall, not too shabby of an experience. Hope there is a parade coming your way soon (maybe with no escape longhorns).
