One Month

It's been a month since the last time that I was on the blogging site and so far my goal of trying to keep things updated and add posts at least two times a week has yet to happen. So here's to tomorrow, a new day and a new chance to get everything done :)


I am currently in process of reading the Happiness Project and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a book to read that will expand their thoughts and challenge them to think about their life in a new way. I have so been inspired by this book to start my own "happiness project." Let me preface this by saying that I don't particularly feel like I am not a happy person, quite the contrary. However, this book challenged me to think about the little things that I could be doing to could bring my happiness to a new level. Here is what I have come up with so far:
1.  Keep a gratitude book (whenever I am feeling down and out this book will serve as a fast reminder to all the blessings that we have been given)
2. Buy the little things that make me happy (so often I get caught up in feeling guilty over the little purchases that often times make my day) 
3. Make time to work out
4. Organize one area a week
5. Make friends a priority (friends have an amazing way of lifting my spirits and bringing me back to my true self)
So that's my list for now, with more to be added later. Here's to a happier me and a reminder to stop and count my blessings.
