Friday I had the luxury of having the day to myself, with no lists, agendas and nothing that I absolutely HAD to do. So with my open schedule and ability to do whatever my little heart desired, I wrapped myself in a blanket and read the last Harry Potter book all morning long. It was amazing!!! I can't even remember the last time that I got to read a book from cover to cover and it was wonderful.
These past couple of weeks at work have been extremely challenging, stressful and draining. Looking back on my first couple of posts, the irony of trying to focus on the positive and make myself a more positive and happier person is not lost. All of the hardships and stressful times have caused/forced me to learn what re-energizes me and makes my happy at a moments notice. So far here is the list that I have comprised:
1. Random night time bike rides with my husband
2. Curling up in bed and reading a book without a thought or care to any sort of schedule
3. Pinkberry ice cream
4. Random calls/texts from friends
5. Dinner with my family
6. Coffee time on Sunday morning with my mom and family friends
7. Playing volleyball
8. Hot yoga!!!!
I hope that in stressful times in your life you have moments and things that will bring a smile to your face and turn your day around.
